Star Joy did not become the best babysitter in town over night! She has three siblings(triplets) that she had to take care of ever since they were born. Star Joy's father is a well known stand up comedian that sadly has to do a lot of travelling. He's not home most of the time, but is very beloved by his family despite the constant absence.
Star Joy's mother works in a fabric store. It's a small business, herself being the only staff the family can afford. When Star Joy is not taking care of her younger siblings (and many other younger foals), she likes lending a hoof to her mother. Her life is a busy one, making it one of the reasons she's holding back from pursuing her dream... or it can be just a good excuse.

Berry Rush: The first born of the three. Berry Rush is very excitable and strong headed, the leader of the three rascals. He loves his older sister a lot, but ends up causing the most trouble for her. He was the first in his class to learn how to fly properly and currently the only one of the three so far that's able to do so. He's not good at reading emotions of others, especially Bitter Sweets, his sibling he gets along with the least. Despite their rivalry, he loves her and feels that their constant battles are what push him forward, making him go beyond his own expectations. 

Cinnamon bun: The youngest of the three. Cinnamon is the most pampered of the family, being the youngest and soft-hearted. Cinnamon is a docile pony, setting his own slow pace and living by it. He's in no rush to learn how to fly nor to earn his cutiemark, content with being in the safe and warm presence of his older sister. He's a tad lazy and a fan of baked goods, developing a bit of chub around the cheeks and belly. He usually never gets into arguments and just does what Berry Rush asks him to... unless it's too much trouble. 

Bitter Sweets: The middle triplet. Bitters is a pony with a chip on her shoulder, feeling a bit overshadowed by her siblings; Berry being the obnoxious troublemaker and Cinnamon being the cuddly baby. Between the two, she feels like she gets left out or forgotten, that being the reason why she always seems to get into arguments with Berry. Often times she attempts to one-up Berry, but he always out performs her, no matter if that is a good or bad thing. Bitter does love her siblings, but she wants to find her own lot in the family. She also wishes to get her cutiemark first of the three, one reason being that she'll finally know what could make her shine and the second reason would be to show up Berry for once.
